An issue with hail shapefile data was identified internally and reported to Ops at 5:35pm regarding files not updating. We were notified by customer at 6:10pm on November 19th of an issue with stale LAPS data. GIS layers and hail shapefiles stopped updating at roughly 2:30pm CST. It was found that the issue was due to LDM being started incorrectly. When the process was started incorrectly permissions were changed which took sometime to identify and change. Once the files were reverted back to the appropriate user and group; processing resumed normally. Processes that didn't not update frequently were manually ran by hand to populate data quicker into the GIS layers. All products returned to normal by 10:35pm.
